EP6 is a control and protection system for generators. It has LED signals, indicator display, function buttons and engine start key.

EP6 allows operating modes:
  • OFF
  • MANUAL
  • AUTO

COMPOUND + AVR

Double Control- Security of Supply: With this system both AVR and Compound control systems are normally active. When a heavy load current is required (example - motor starting) the compound regulation overrides the AVR thereby ensuring high availability of required current. In standard operating conditions the AVR regulation prevails, which ensures high quality, precise control of the AC output.

In case of AVR failure, the Compound regulation maintains voltage regulation, albeit with reduced control characteristics.
